Yes I’m referring to time share. But before I continue, please note not all time share related companies are scammers; there are a few that do live up to their offers.
The reason for this article is due to the fact that a lot of the Holiday Club scammer operate in Spain, and quite a few can be found on the Costa del Sol.

Wow Factor

An X-Factor inspired competition comes to the Costa del Sol, or more specifically ‘Moonlight Bar’ at the Sunset Beach Club Hotel, Benalmádena on the 20th of September and a week later on the 27th of September at the Atalaya Park Hotel in Marbella. This talent contest is being held to raise much-needed funds for the running costs of Costa cancer care NGO Cudeca.

Charity Costa del Sol

Cudeca is NGO (non-governmental organisation) and non-profit making based the province of Malaga on the Costa del Sol. Many of you might have seen some of their charity shops in Fuengirola, Marbella, etc…

The NGO assists patients suffering from terminal cancer and is also there to support the families through the illness and afterwards.

Marbella

Marbella is a city located in the province of Malaga on the Costa del Sol. It is quite a large city, with over 100.000 inhabitants. Marbella is best known as the playground for the rich and famous and has been a favourite destination for many wealthy tourists from Northern Europe.

Like areas such as Fuengirola, there is archaeological evidence that indicates previous Phoenician, Carthaginian and roman settlements. Historically little of significance happened in the area until the 1940s.

Marbella costa del Sol

I read an interesting article in yesterday’s diarioSur about property for sale in Marbella. It appears that prices are up by 1.65% from last year! Now before people start screaming about ‘talking up the market’ and so on, read on.

First, looking at the annual figures only, there has been an increase. Whereas if we look at the quarterly figures, the rise is only a 0.13%, which is not exactly impressive.
